Private Training Program

A Smarter, Hands-On Approach to Training

Private training is one of the most effective ways to build real, lasting results with your dog. Rather than separating you from the foundation building process, we work directly with you and your dog from the beginning—teaching you proper handling, clear communication, and consistent structure alongside your dog from the start.

While this may be more handler intensive, many dogs that owners assume need a board and train program can make significant progress through private sessions alone. By focusing on both the dog and the handler at the same time, we’re able to create meaningful improvement while giving you the tools to maintain and build on that progress long after training is complete.

Each session is structured, practical, and tailored to your specific goals. Whether you're working on obedience, behavior challenges, or overall trust and bonding, we focus on real-world reliability—not just cues in a controlled setting.

Pricing

Training program pricing does not include the cost of any recommended equipment.

The $50 consultation fee is applied toward the total cost of your training program. Private training includes four one-hour sessions, typically scheduled once per week.

Up to three dogs from the same household and same owner may participate in the program at no additional cost.  All dogs attend and are worked together during each session.

How It Works

Training That Includes Both Dog and Owner

Each session is conducted at our facility and focuses on building obedience, improving behavior, and developing clear communication between you and your dog. We work through real-world scenarios and challenges so your dog learns to respond reliably—not just in training, but in everyday life.

Private training is as much about teaching you as it is your dog. We guide you through proper handling techniques, timing, consistency, and structure so you can confidently continue the training outside of sessions.

Between sessions, you’ll apply what you’ve learned at home. This consistency is what allows progress to build week after week and creates lasting results.

What to Expect

Private training sessions are typically scheduled about one week apart to allow time for practice and progress between visits.

Because you are directly involved in every session, you’ll develop a clear understanding of how to work with your dog, correct behaviors, and reinforce expectations at home.

Dogs are worked in a structured environment at our facility, allowing us to control variables, introduce distractions appropriately, and build consistent, reliable behavior over time.
